Unlocking Manifestation Success: The Power of High Permission Levels
Manifesting seems to be all anyone is talking about when I scroll through my social feeds these days. Could be the algorithm—It also feels like people are waking up in droves to the power we possess to create our reality.
But it seems like a lot of people are stuck.
There appears to be some frustration with the process, and what they want to manifest just doesn’t seem to be coming to them.
I get it. I’ve been there.
And I think the problem is we’re overlooking an important ingredient in successful manifestation:
High permission levels.
There’s plenty of talk about how our subconscious self-limiting beliefs get in the way and prevent us from reaching our highest potential.
But nobody is looking at how our beliefs contribute to our permission levels, and how higher permission levels mean owning more creative confidence.
As in, the confidence to create the life you want.
Let’s get into it.
What are Permission Levels?
Permission levels are an internal threshold we set for ourselves that determines the amount of happiness, success, love, and abundance we allow ourselves to experience.
If we have low permission levels our subconscious will override our conscious decision-making abilities when we go after something we want. It’s like an internal barometer that dictates whether we’re allowed to be that happy, or that wealthy, or that confident.
This is subconscious subversion, and it prevents us from taking aligned action toward our dreams. It can prevent us from even seeing opportunities that would move us toward our conscious goal.
Low permission levels keep us in a cycle of self-sabotage, constantly reaching but never achieving our highest potential.
It’s a protective mechanism that allows our subconscious to keep us “safe” out in the world and is directly tied to our subconscious self-limiting beliefs.
Here are 5 signs your permission levels are low, and probably impinging on your ability to manifest effectively.
1.You aren’t satisfied with your career
If your job ‘sucks your soul’ or you feel stuck in a rut career-wise, you probably have low permission levels in this area. When you imagine leaving or paving a new way for yourself you might initially feel motivated, but eventually, fear takes over and either prevents you from taking inspired action toward a real change or you self-sabotage and stay put, because that’s what’s safe as far as your permission levels are concerned.
In this case, it’s probably tied to a bunch of self-limiting beliefs around finance, career, freedom, and self-worth. People who stay put in situations that don’t feel good are accepting the lower vibe scenario because that’s where their subconscious feels safe.
2. Your Relationships Are Fraught With Drama
In general, high permission levels are going to lead to high-functioning relationships and an ability to work through issues without a lot of drama. On the other end of the spectrum where permission levels are low, you’ll see a person who constantly finds something wrong with all their relationships and exists within a pretty steady stream of drama.
We can want love and joy all day long, but if we have a bunch of beliefs running around in our subconscious telling us we aren’t worthy of love or that existing in drama and discomfort is a normal way of being, we’re going to perpetuate chaos in our relationships.
3. You Run Yourself Ragged Until You Get Sick
If you’re one of those people who is always going a hundred miles an hour and can’t seem to slow down to rest, you might have some permission-level issues. Burning the candle at both ends and sacrificing self-care in the name of productivity and progress is a surefire sign your permission levels are stuck below a healthy threshold.
Many people who can’t seem to slow down and nurture themselves are people-pleasers who do more than their fair share in taking care of others, to the detriment of their own health. Boundaries are critical to establishing this, but if our permission levels aren’t high enough, we don’t truly believe we deserve the rest or that our self-care is important enough to prioritize.
4. You Blame Others When Things Don’t Work Out
Risk-averse individuals who blame others when things don’t work out tend to have lower permission levels. They don’t recognize their own energetic contribution to a situation and look for anyone who can take the heat when reality doesn’t deliver on their dreams.
On the other side of the coin, people who take risks and welcome the consequences of those risks tend to have high permission levels. This is roughly what you’d expect when someone has a sense that their locus of control in any situation is inside their own power. And because these people take risks with high-vibe intentions behind them, they tend to see more success in manifesting their desired result.
People who don’t believe they have the power to create or change their existing reality will naturally lash out and want to blame others. But, if you truly believe you have the power to manifest your own reality, then when things aren’t working out, you’re looking at what you can do differently in the future instead of blaming others for your lot in life.
5. You Have Chronically Low Energy & Mood Swings
High energy and excitement about life are the daily norm for people with high permission levels. On the other end of that spectrum, you see lower energy and unpredictable mood swings when people are struggling with low permission levels.
Your general expectation when you have high permission levels is going to be that you can and will create the life you want. So when roadblocks appear, it’s not a matter of life and death, it’s simply a message from the universe that there’s a lesson to be learned, or a course correction to execute.
This leaves a person in a more steady mood than if their permission levels were low and every single holdup in the manifestation process felt like a slap in the face. It’s not; it’s just life’s obstacles, and they’re there to help show us the path to our highest purpose.
How to Raise Permission Levels
If you identified with any of these potential signs you might be wondering how one goes about raising their permission levels…
Updating our subconscious self-limiting belief systems will naturally start to raise our permission levels. The closer in alignment we can get to our authentic self and true loving acceptance of ourselves, the higher our permission levels will become.
Be mindful of the areas where you feel stuck and challenged in life.
Remind yourself that you’ve chosen this place, those people, and the way you’re being treated.
Your reality is a reflection of your inner permission levels and outer boundaries. Identify the areas where you want to raise your permission levels and start doing the work. Set boundaries, and hold them. Work with a coach, healer, or therapist. Journal, hold a vision for your future, and start thinking, speaking, and behaving like the divine being (with the divine permission levels) that you know you can be.
