I’m Cara Steinmann, and
I’m here to break things.
When I say that I want to ‘break things gently for the collective’, this is what I mean:
It’s ok to want to change your business
For years, I had a business that was profitable - but I hated it. In fact, I spent most of my adult life anxious and depressed because of it.
Sure, I was good at what I was doing, but my strengths? Not even a consideration.
I wasn’t energized by what I was doing, and was working all day every day. The production was exhausting, and everything felt like a challenge. But as a work-from-homer, I didn’t know where to turn.
Eventually I realized that change was imperative - not just for me, but for my business.
So I broke it.
I began learning about my strengths and by understanding that I was good at more than what I was doing for work, I was able to remove the shame around not loving what I had built.
I shed the load of things I didn’t love, and broke the things I wanted to put back together better. Through this process, I got to know myself, and started leveraging my superpowers to better serve others.
Now that I’ve built out my coaching & masterminds, I rarely feel like I’m ‘working’. Instead, I wake up thinking about all the fun things I get to do, and how my work positively impacts other women.
You need people to help you break things - and put them back together.
Nobody can do what you do like you.
You shouldn’t wait your entire life to get comfortable living in your own skin.
Together, we’ll step away from doing things just because they’ve always been done that way.
We’ll question things. Try things differently. We might even break some norms along the way.
We don’t have to be massive disruptors in our fields. Instead, we’ll gently tweak and break things to make them better. And our community will support us.
Do it for you. For your work. For the collective.
Those changes have to come with purpose.

Input
I collect people and the details about them to serve as a utility when someone needs help.
Learner
I’m driven to continuously grow and improve and have a deep knowledge of things that interest me, which keeps me on the cutting edge.
Activator
I take charge, speak up, and help turn thoughts into action by emphasizing others and energizing groups.
Plus, I have…
The Accolades
While I don’t think accolades and certifications are the only things that make me a great connector, they’re an important part of how I help others.
